Work Location: Tuen Mun Warehouse Facility
Work Schedule: 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 9am to 6pm.
No Travel is Required.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Inventory: Issue purchase orders for laboratory chemicals and consumables, managing the procurement process and fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Regulatory Compliance: Apply for and maintain essential import licenses and permits, ensuring all operations strictly adhere to Hong Kong safety and import regulations.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage international shipping, customs clearance, and local transportation to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment.
- Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse organization, monitor storage conditions for sensitive materials, and maintain 100% accuracy in stock control.
- Documentation & Audit: Prepare all necessary shipping documents and delivery notes, maintaining meticulous records for internal and external audits.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to streamline operations.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in procurement, import/export, or warehouse coordination.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Hong Kong import/export regulations is essential; specific knowledge of laboratory chemical regulations is highly preferred.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and AI Tools to optimize logistics workflows and reporting.
- Communication: Good command of English and Chinese to liaise with diverse global suppliers and local logistics partners.
- Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in a warehouse office environment.
